Chamber Choir
Prerequisite: See choral director for an audition.
Two Semesters, 0.5 Credit Each
This is a select advanced mixed ensemble. Students will have the opportunity to continue in depth study of choral music at an accelerated pace. This course is designed to focus on the individual, allowing each singer to achieve a sensitivity to excellence in precision, nuance, dynamic range, and aesthetic quality. The group will work on pieces of various styles from madrigals to 20th century compositions with an emphasis on a cappella selections. Chamber Choir performs frequently throughout the community as well as at the school concerts and festivals.
